22 Veterans Commit Suicide Everyday - Read that again. That's 8,030 people per year! 


The suicide rate for Veterans between 18-35, who deployed in the Global War on Terror, is 2.5X greater than all civilians and 2X that of civilians the same age. Some independent studies suggest that number is as high as 6X. 


47% of veterans deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan post-9/11 who suffer from PTSD or Depression DO NOT SEEK HELP 


43.6% of post 9/11 Veterans fear seeking mental health support will harm their career 


15 out of every 100 veterans who served in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) – in Afghanistan and Iraq – have experienced PTS symptoms.

Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for our youth ages 10-24


Between 20% and 56% of youth deal with bullying annually, bullying is most severe during 11–13 years of age


Each year, over 1 million American children suffer the divorce of their parents


Mounting evidence demonstrates that the devastating physical, emotional, and financial effects that divorce is having on these children will last into adulthood 


  

Every year in the U.S., 27,000 children are diagnosed with critical illnesses


Each year in the U.S. there are an estimated 15,780 children between the ages of birth and 19 years of age who are diagnosed with cancer



Our mission IS TO ENCOURAGE, Restore, AND HEAL

Hooks of Hope is dedicated to supporting veterans, active duty service members, children, and families facing challenges such as PTSD, illness, and difficult life circumstances. We provide assistance through four key areas: Fishing Adventures, Clinical Counseling, Regenerative Medical Care, and Long-Term Mentorship.


  • Our Fishing Adventures, are designed for adventure, fellowship, introspection, and connection.  


  • Clinical Counseling partners offer professional support to help individuals navigate personal and mental health challenges. 


  • Our Regenerative Medical Care providers promote physical well-being and recovery. 


  • Our Long-Term Mentorship provides ongoing guidance and encouragement, fostering resilience and support for lasting impact.
